The VILKUS-62 truck SCR/DPF-off emulators are renowned products tailored for Mack / Volvo trucks, buses, and Volvo CE (Construction Equipment). They are available for purchase at the DrunkLab Store and come with a manufacturer's warranty, indicating their prominence in the industry.
The VILKUS-62 truck SCR/DPF-off emulator is available in two distinct models:
VILKUS-62 Black: This is the primary model that provides all the essential features required in a truck SCR/DPF-off emulator for Mack trucks and Volvo heavy equipment manufactured 2010-2013.
VILKUS-62 Grey: This edition is designed for an enhanced experience, especially for 2014 and later models. It boasts additional features and delivers robust performance. VILKUS-62 Grey is an all-in-one solution. Its software is designed to support US14/US17 Mack & Volvo trucks, Volvo CE (we can proudly say VILKUS Grey = Volvo excavator emulator) and Volvo Penta 2014+ as well.
Functionality: As truck SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) emulators, the VILKUS-62 models are engineered to replicate the operations of SCR and DPF systems. These systems play a crucial role in curbing harmful exhaust emissions in diesel vehicles, ensuring they adhere to emission regulations. By emulating the functioning of these systems, the emulators enable the vehicle's engine control unit (ECU) to operate normally. This prevents any potential engine performance issues linked to exhaust systems.
Benefits: Regardless of the model differences, both the VILKUS-62 Black and the VILKUS-62 Grey guarantee smoother engine operation and an overall enhancement in performance. The VILKUS-62 is the ultimate choice for those seeking reliable truck DPF and truck SCR emulators to optimize their vehicles' performance while maintaining compliance with emission standards.

The principle of operation of the VILKUS-62 emulator: The VILKUS-62 device emulates the operation of the ACM unit, and disables the function of calculating soot emissions, disables the function of burning (regeneration) the DPF filter, as well as disables the additional fuel injection for burning the DPF filter.
- Removal of the DPF filter ( you need physically to cut it from the exhaust system).
- To return to factory settings, a new DPF filter should be installed, except the cases of models where the DPF filter is removable. On such vehicles you can install the old DPF filter. But it is necessary to observe the safe manufacturer-recommended storage conditions of the filter for the period of using the VILKUS-62 emulator.
1. Order VILKUS-62 emulator for your vehicle model. You can ask for support ofh technical specialists on the website: https://dl.ge/
2. Turn off the ignition and uplink battery power connectors.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the ACM and NOx sensor.
4. Install the VILKUS-62 emulator into the vacant connectors. After that, the ACM unit itself can be removed from the vehicle and stored in a dry place, or the ACM connector can be protected from moisture and dirt in order to maintain its operability.
5. Place the power connectors back to the battery.
6. Your vehicle can be operated.
7. IMPORTANT! You need to remove the DPF filter physically immediately after installing the VILKUS-62 emulator. If necessary, you can do this by yourself or contact a specialized service.

An SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) emulator is a device used in the automotive aftermarket to bypass or disable the SCR and DPF systems in vehicles equipped with diesel engines. These emulators are electronic modules or devices that intercept signals from the vehicle's engine control unit (ECU) or exhaust sensors to simulate the proper functioning of the SCR and DPF systems.
- Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR): SCR is an emissions control technology used in diesel engines to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. It involves injecting a urea-based diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) into the exhaust stream, where it reacts with NOx in the presence of a catalyst to convert them into harmless nitrogen and water vapor. SCR systems are common in modern diesel vehicles to comply with stringent emissions regulations.
- Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF): A DPF is a component of a diesel engine's exhaust system designed to capture and remove particulate matter (PM) or soot from the exhaust gases. It traps the particles within its porous walls and periodically regenerates to burn off the accumulated soot, reducing emissions of harmful pollutants.
- To disable emissions control systems for various reasons, such as performance enhancement, maintenance simplification, or regulatory compliance.
- To mimic the signals sent to the vehicle's ECU or exhaust sensors to prevent error codes or warning lights related to the SCR and DPF systems from appearing on the dashboard.
- To allow vehicles to pass emissions tests or inspections without having to repair or replace faulty SCR or DPF components.
Vehicle owners should thoroughly research and understand the legal and environmental implications of using SCR and DPF emulators before considering their installation.
VILKUS-62 is not EGR emulator, it is SCR/DPF emulator.
An EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) emulator is a device used to bypass or disable the EGR system in vehicles equipped with diesel engines. The EGR system is designed to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by recirculating a portion of the engine's exhaust gas back into the combustion chamber, where it mixes with fresh air and fuel. This process lowers the combustion temperature and reduces the formation of NOx, which is a harmful pollutant.

The usage of VILKUS-62 emulator has no adverse effect on the wear and tear of your turbine. Our emulators are engineered to optimize performance while minimizing stress on vehicle components, ensuring that your turbine remains in optimal condition mile after mile.
Ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of your truck’s engine is paramount, especially in the face of DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) concerns. Here's why neglecting your DPF after installing the VILKUS-62 emulator can lead to serious repercussions:
Without proper attention to your DPF, it's susceptible to become clogged with soot over time. As the VILKUS-62 emulator optimizes engine performance, the DPF continues to accumulate soot particles, gradually obstructing the filter's functionality.
A clogged DPF directly impacts engine performance, resulting in reduced power output for your vehicle. You may notice sluggish acceleration, decreased responsiveness, and overall diminished driving performance.
The buildup of soot in the DPF causes exhaust gas pressure to rise within the system. This elevated pressure creates backpressure, placing additional strain on your engine and compromising its efficiency.
As the DPF becomes overwhelmed with soot, the excess pressure can cause the filter to fail. Soot may then bypass the filter and enter the engine oil, leading to contamination. This contamination accelerates engine wear, causing premature degradation and potentially costly repairs.
Don't overlook the importance of delete your truck DPF, after installing the VILKUS-62 emulator.
The legality of using the VILKUS-62 emulator and removing the DPF filter hinges on compliance with local emissions regulations and vehicle modification laws.
It's essential to familiarize yourself with the specific regulations governing vehicle modifications and emissions control in your country and region.
As a user of the VILKUS-62 emulator and a vehicle owner considering DPF removal, you bear full responsibility for understanding and adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
